A matching challenge credits its dollars in full. An event you host or a fundraiser you
run earns a credit by what it achieves: over $5,000 is a Special Thanks,
over $25,000 is a “Made Possible by” credit. Title credits are limited
and subject to terms, and credits must be finalised before final cut is locked to appear
in the film.
Film credits for What a Trip
Contribute over $5k and we will list your
name in our film credits.
If you help us to raise over $5k, we will list you in our film
“Special Thanks” credits. Help us raise over $25k
to be listed in our “Made Possible by” credits. If we missed
someone, or our website has a mistake, please
contact us.
Credits must be finalized before final cut is locked. Contributions made
after that point will continue to be recognized here on our website, but can no longer be
added to the finished film.
All credits are subject to editorial approval, including size, placement, order and content.
Title credits — those appearing before the film — are limited in availability,
and any logos or animation are likewise subject to editorial approval.

How it works
Credits for hosting an event or running a fundraiser
Bring people together for the film and you earn a credit of your
own — by what the event achieves, not by a share of the money. The
gifts made that night already appear on this wall, credited to the people who gave them.
Over $5,000 raised. You are listed in the film’s Special

Over $25,000 raised. You receive a “Made Possible by”
on-screen credit.
Matching challenges are different. A challenge credits its dollars to you in
full: your own money is at risk, and what it unlocks exists because of your pledge.
Your event’s total is not shown against your name — the

Your donation is tax deductible
Every contribution to What a Trip is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by U.S. law.
What a Trip is a fiscally sponsored project of Creative Visions Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Donations are processed by Creative Visions’ platform partner, Pledge.to, through the Pledge Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3). Your gift is received and receipted through the Pledge Foundation, so your emailed receipt and tax‑ID acknowledgment will come from them. The funds are then transferred to Creative Visions Foundation and, after platform and fiscal‑sponsorship fees, granted to What a Trip.
You can give by cash, ACH bank transfer, stock, donor-advised fund (DAF), crypto, or credit card. ACH transfers carry the lowest processing fees, so more of your gift goes straight to the film.
Right after you give, you’ll receive an emailed receipt to keep for your tax records. No goods or services are provided in exchange for your donation, except as otherwise noted for specific perks or rewards.
